artisan made-in-hause cakes

Classics like tiramisu, vegan bled cream cake and other specialities.

The dessert program isn't a side thought. Customers come for cakes alone, and they take slices home in boxes. Even the Bled-style kremna rezina — that classic regional cream cake — comes plant-based here.

The cakes are generous. The reviewers name them by name. There's almost always something new on the counter.

"We took two slices of Snickers cake away to have with a coffee later. The taste was really good. Would love the recipe." — Tripadvisor review

Warm wood. Alpine light. No loud music.

Minimalist, cosy, designed for lingering and relaxation. The kind of place where you can read at the table or settle in for a long lunch with friends.

about us

A small deli that takes its food seriously.

Tavči Kuhna is a restaurant for everyone that's looking to make a diffrence. We are also specialty coffee café, with in house made cakes and deli in Lesce — close enough to Bled to feel its energy, far enough to keep the calm. The kitchen makes plant-based food that holds its own beside any traditional Slovenian plate: generous burgers, homemade falafel, gyros, fresh salads, and a dessert counter that has its own following.

Open every day except Tuesday. Free parking. Wolt delivery. And almost always, a slice of Snickers cake left on the counter.

Together with Ayatana deli

Right next door, Ayatana ferments kombucha, water kefir, and a colourful collection of plant-based goodies. We pour their kombucha straight from the tap. You can also take some home from our deli shelf.

The address says "industrial zone" — and it's true, technically. But the moment you step inside, it's a warm wooden alpine café and deli with free parking right at the door.
